steal away

Steal Away started with the style of a crime genre an as if it was a bank heist the title of the story was on money which keep to the style of the film there was also upbeat music which added to the genre. As all short film does it jump straight you straight to the climax

The POV of the camera makes the audience feel as if there apart of the film the camera moves in a fast past and focus on one subject to another

There is a POV from the driver then female protagonist
then the move meant slows down and there is a exaggerates gun shot noise this challenges   the audience view as they are left wondering who got shot there is also a close up on her expression when this happens which may suggest that she going out the male protagonist she also had a tattoo which may suggest she is a rebel

As the film goes on and the two protagonist open the brief case there is an explosion of read ink this could symbolise sin as they had stolen the money it could also be passion and danger

As they get on the train there ironically is a priest preaching an a man cleaning people feet this could link to the read in the brief case as this may be a biblical reference to when Jesus washed the people feet to cleanse them of there sins deeper on there journey on the train the light flicks on and off when the male protagonist is 'cleansed of his earlier sin an that he has been forgiven

The story truly unravels at the end as it becomes clear that the male protagonist has died, this makes the audience think about all that they just watched an make them think about there own life’s this conventional of short film as it has a messages.
